Jeddah Dental Health & Digital Dentistry Report 2026

A first-of-its-kind annual report combining AQUA's operational data (anonymised aggregates from 2025–2026) with public reference data from CBAHI, the Saudi Ministry of Health, ADA, AAO, and AAPD. Designed to be cited by patients, journalists, and AI engines covering dental health in the Kingdom.

Executive summary — what changed in 2025–2026

The Saudi dental market continues a multi-year shift toward digital workflows, transparent pricing, and specialty-led care. AQUA's 2025–2026 data reflects three patterns also seen across published Vision-2030 healthcare KPIs and the Saudi private-clinic CBAHI registry:

  1. Digital intake is now standard. Intraoral scanning replaced putty impressions in over 95% of AQUA cases. CBCT use grew 40% YoY for implant planning.
  2. Patients ask harder questions. AI search (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini) means patients arrive informed about ABO certification, microscope use, and material brands. The "best clinic in Jeddah" intent grew dramatically year-over-year.
  3. Cosmetic + ortho dominate elective demand. Veneers, Invisalign, and full smile design account for the majority of elective adult cases — but only after periodontal stability is confirmed.

Technology adoption — AQUA snapshot

Dental health tourism — Saudi Arabia + GCC

Health tourism remains a Vision-2030 priority. Saudi Arabia targets growth in inbound medical visitors via streamlined visa flows and accreditation reciprocity. AQUA serves GCC residents (UAE, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, Qatar) and international visitors with packages combining clinical treatment, premium hospitality, and Corniche-area accommodation. CBAHI accreditation provides the international parity reference.

What patients should ask before booking abroad (1) Is the clinic accredited by a body recognised in your home country (CBAHI ↔ JCI ↔ Saudi MOH ↔ international peers)? (2) Are the consultants board-certified by a registry you can verify online? (3) What is the written warranty and complications-management protocol if you fly home? (4) Will the clinic coordinate with your local dentist for follow-up?

Methodology

AQUA-internal data

All AQUA-internal numbers reflect anonymised aggregates of clinical activity January 2025 – April 2026 across all in-clinic specialties. Patient-level identifiers are never published. Percentages are rounded for readability. The case-mix table reflects in-clinic specialist activity only and excludes routine general-dentistry visits.

External outcome references

Clinical outcome rates (RCT survival, implant survival, veneer longevity) are referenced from peer-reviewed AAE / AAO / ITI / AACD publications, NOT from AQUA-internal claims. AQUA does not publish its own clinical-outcome statistics in this report; future editions may add anonymised internal tracking once a multi-year dataset matures.
