Dr. Mohamed Bamashmous is a Saudi orthodontist, American Board of Orthodontics Diplomate (2014, renewed 2024), and board-certified public health dentist. He completed advanced training at Boston University's Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine, where he earned an MSD in Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopedics, a DScD (Doctor of Science in Dentistry), and an MA.
He serves as Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Dental Public Health at the Faculty of Dentistry, King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah, with a joint teaching role in Orthodontics. His research record spans 413+ citations and an h-index of 10 on Google Scholar — covering orthodontics, epidemiology, oral public health, and cleft lip/palate care in Saudi Arabia.
In 2021 he co-founded AQUA Dent Clinics to create a boutique practice combining clinical excellence with thoughtful design. In clinic, he leads clear-aligner and complex orthodontic cases — deep and open bite, surgical orthodontic preparation, and treatment coordination with the cosmetic and implant teams.

Deep and open bite, surgical orthodontic prep, and reopening space for implant placement.
Work-compatible options — clear aligners, lingual braces, and tooth-colored ceramic brackets.
Growth guidance before puberty to avoid later permanent-tooth extractions or orthognathic surgery.
Aligning teeth before veneers or implants — in close coordination with the cosmetic team.
Fixed and removable retainers — because a smile needs ongoing care, not a one-time fix.
