Urgent dental care in Jeddah: when to be seen quickly

What counts as a dental urgency, and what to do before you reach a clinic in Jeddah.

If you have severe pain, a broken tooth or swelling, call the clinic on 920035788 for the earliest appointment. AQUA Dent Clinics is open Sunday to Wednesday 1 PM to 9 PM and Thursday 11 AM to 6 PM. It is not a 24-hour emergency service.

Go to a hospital emergency department now if

  • Swelling reaches your eye or neck.
  • You have trouble breathing or swallowing.
  • Bleeding will not stop.
  • You have an injury to your face or jaw.
  • You have a high fever with facial swelling.

Problems that may need an urgent appointment

  • Severe or lasting toothache.
  • A broken or knocked-out tooth.
  • Swollen gums.
  • A lost crown or filling.

If an adult tooth is knocked out

Hold it by the crown and gently rinse it if dirty. If you can, put it back in its socket and bite on clean gauze. If you can’t, keep it in milk. Then get care immediately. Do not put a baby tooth back in.
