What actually drives the price

The differences in pricing don't come from the clinic alone — they reflect measurable factors:

  1. Materials used. A German E.max veneer is 40% more than a Chinese ceramic veneer. A Swiss Straumann implant is 60% more than a Korean implant. The difference isn't marketing — warranty period, osseointegration evidence, and documented clinical track record are all different.
  2. Doctor's specialty. An American Board-certified consultant (ABO, ABDPH) costs more than a general dentist, but their success rate on complex cases is higher.
  3. Technology used. A surgical microscope + iTero + CBCT + 3D-printed surgical guide all add to the cost — but they reduce complications.
  4. Time per session. A doctor seeing 4 patients a day costs more but gives each patient longer time than a doctor seeing 12 patients a day.
  5. Warranty period. A 5-year implant warranty vs. one year is a meaningful value difference.

Financing options

AQUA Dent Clinics offers up to 12-month installments via MyFatoorah for most treatment plans (orthodontics, implants, cosmetic, All-on-X). We accept: cash, Visa, Mastercard, mada, Apple Pay, and MyFatoorah.

For larger cases (All-on-X, full smile makeover, comprehensive treatment), we offer a flexible payment plan with a 30% deposit to start the lab work, with the balance in installments.

Insurance — how we handle it

AQUA Dent does not bill insurance directly. We prepare all invoices, medical reports, and radiographs in the standard format (DICOM for X-rays) that your insurance company accepts, so you can file a reimbursement claim yourself.

Most private Saudi insurance plans (Bupa, Tawuniya, MedGulf, MedNet, Allianz) cover:

  • 30–50% of orthodontics for adults
  • 50–80% of orthodontics for children & adolescents
  • 50–70% of implant treatment (with a medical report)
  • 70–100% of root canal & restorative work (medically necessary procedures)
  • 100% of professional cleaning & routine check-ups
  • 0% of purely cosmetic procedures (veneers on healthy teeth, whitening, gum bleaching, etc.)

Jeddah compared to regional & international prices (2026)

Saudi Arabia sits in the smart sweet spot between Turkey (cheaper but variable quality) and Western Europe (most expensive with long waits):

  • Saudi Arabia (Jeddah) is 30–50% lower than Dubai for the same quality level
  • Saudi Arabia is comparable to or slightly higher than Turkey, but with higher success rates on complex cases (premium implant brands, microscope-assisted endo, CBCT included)
  • Saudi Arabia is 40–60% lower than Germany or the UK for the same brands and standards

For patients from outside Saudi Arabia: our dental tourism guide explains when the trip is worth it and when it isn't.

How to get an accurate quote

The complete quote is determined after:

  1. First consultation (free for most cases). 45–90 minutes depending on complexity. Includes: medical history, full clinical exam, photographs, panoramic X-ray, and an iTero 3D scan if needed.
  2. Diagnosis and digital planning. Your consultant studies your case and prepares a complete treatment plan, sometimes with input from a colleague in another specialty for multi-disciplinary cases.
  3. Delivery of the written, signed quote. Comes to you at the first visit, or within 24–48 hours for complex cases. Includes: number of sessions, materials, technicians and lab, warranty period, and financing options.
  4. Decision time. No commitment to start — you take the quote, compare, come back when you're ready.

Frequently asked questions

Q: Why do prices vary this much between different clinics in Jeddah?
A: The variation reflects real differences in: brands used, doctor specialty, technologies, and warranty period. A clinic using a Korean implant + general dentist + no CBCT will cost 30% less than a clinic using Straumann + consultant + CBCT + 5-year warranty. The smart decision isn't "cheapest" or "most expensive" — it's what fits your case with full transparency.

Q: Are AQUA's prices negotiable?
A: We don't reduce prices for individuals — that wouldn't be fair to other patients. But we offer: installments up to 12 months, family discounts (5–10% for multiple cases from the same family), and comprehensive treatment packages.

Q: Why is Invisalign 30–40% more than metal braces?
A: Because every Invisalign aligner is custom-manufactured for your case by Align Technology in the US, and lab fees are the biggest cost. Metal braces use standard brackets.

Q: Which treatments should I avoid taking the cheapest quote on?
A: Three treatments where you should never compromise on quality: implants (failure after years costs double). Root canal (re-treatment costs 3×, extraction + implant 5×). Veneers (the removed enamel can't be brought back). For cleaning and simple fillings, the differences are less risky.

Q: Do you accept international patients / patients from outside Saudi Arabia?
A: Yes. We have a dental tourism program for Gulf and international patients. Pre-planning by WhatsApp/Zoom, airport pickup, partner hotels. Health tourism program details.

Q: Is the first visit free?
A: Free for: orthodontic consultations (Invisalign and metal), dental tourism, cosmetic crown lengthening, and referral patients. Complex diagnostic consultations (TMD, failed root canal, multi-disciplinary cases) are ~600–900 SAR — credited toward treatment cost if you decide to start with us.
